Taco Rico's

Taco Rico's on 52 in Lafayette.
Best and only authentic Mexican food in Tippecanoe yet discovered. Tobin told me about this little restaurant that looks like it used to be a local dive serving chicken fried steak and angina pectoris with a side of taters but is now packed with every Hispanic within a 10 mile radius. On this, my first visit, I had a burrito carnitas. Momma-sized burritos for the Mexicraving in you. It was lovely but I bet it will be better next time since I fully believe the chefs will see me and my burrito-love and know I am a devout customer and deserve to have every morsel of cheese perfectly distributed and melted throughout the burrito. They use cilantro liberally and that is a sign of genius.
Of note: getting a bowl of fresh limes with your chips is so very lovely. And, a momma-sized burrito carnitas will help you make full use of the restroom a good* number of times the next day.

*Good being relative but universally positive, and possibly contingent on whether or not you have ingested pork and/or pork oils more than once in the last 6 months.
